Guns Regulation

The morally responsible action to reduce gun violence is to pass common sense gun laws – e.g., expanded background checks, closing the gun show and internet purchase loopholes, limiting the number of bullets in ammunition clips, licensing and registration requirements, etc...

Guns kill tens of thousands of people ever year, they must be regulated.

There have been more gun deaths since 1968 than all American wars combined.

The quantity and ease of access to guns is the main problem.

- Rand Paul

Immigration Reform

Give law-abiding/taxpaying refugees and immigrants a reasonable pathway to citizenship; Not tear apart families and reject those seeking freedom from poverty and violence.

Undocumented immigrants/refugees aren't as big of a problem as you may think.

A 600 page report from the National Academy of Sciences reveals how undocumented workers are overall, economically beneficial to our society.

There has been no net increase in "illegal" immigrants in the last decade. Steadily 11 million (3.4% of U.S. population. Over 8 million work

Illegal immigrants benefit our economy.

Illegal immigrants contribute over $11 Billion to our economy

There are wide spread fake news on the undocumented immigrants committing a lot of crime, they're untrue.

Other fake news inflates/exaggerates their criminal behavior to killing thousands of people a year. This is also untrue. There are often less than 20 "serious crimes" committed by illegal aliens a year; meanwhile 30,000 are dying from guns every year. Which is a bigger problem?

Many of our undocumented immigrants are refugees, fleeing devastated economies and violent societies due to decades of American foreign policy decisions.

"Illegal immigrants in considerable numbers have become productive members of our society and are a basic part of our work force. Those who have established equities in the United States should be recognized and accorded legal status. At the same time, in so doing, we must not encourage illegal immigration."
